AliThorn Couture designs and fabricates made-to-order costumes and garments for individuals, entertainers and the design industry.

Not sure what you want? We offer a unique and intimate experience consulting side by side with owner and head designer Ali Thornton.

Consultations give you an opportunity to discuss your ideas, create sketches and to bring your project or costume to life. Consultations can also work to create renderings of your concepts for presentation. Styling Consulting is also available for events, festivals, party planning, and personalized styling.

Our team of expert pattern makers, stitchers and crafts professionals have years of experience making all types of costumes: period, character, fantasy, and modern day; specializing in avant-garde and extravagant performance pieces.

We do every step of the process, acquiring swatches, materials and trims, patterning and constructing the costumes, distressing, dyeing, painting, millinery, as well as alterations and repairs.

AliThorn Couture was founded by a costume designer with experience in both the fashion and entertainment industry. As a result, we are uniquely attuned to the importance of balancing budgets and deadlines while producing the highest quality work.
