Influenced by her Mother’s lingerie store, Ali took an interest in creating sexy one of a kind performance inspired costumes. Her interest in theatrical costume design grew with a two year internship at the Utah Opera costume department. Later she would discover the growing world of burlesque and took her next step creating lavish burlesque costumes reinvent people’s ideas about sexy empowering clothing. Truly creating garments that make a woman feel desirable and confident.  Today AliThorn Couture is a multi-media company working in fashion, design, and event planning.  Ali has taken her work to the next leave creating avant-garde and couture garments that delight the eyes, and the imagination.
